Due to the renewed interest in nostalgia motors we have designed a bracket for the 401/425 Nailhead Buick. Steel bracket mounts to the intake and water crossover manifold. Two groove water pump and crankshaft pulleys are required for this application.

1963-66 Riviera
This bracket is designed for the 1963-66 401/425 C.I.D. Buick Riviera. Replaces the original factory A.C. and Alt. brackets to mount an aftermarket Sanden 508 compressor and standard case size GM alternator. Utilizes the factory mounting points off the front head bolt, water manifold and timing chain cover. Requires the use of a stock two groove alternator pulley, three groove crankshaft pulley and a three groove water pump pulley. Bracket uses two readily available V-Belts to double belt the A.C. compressor and alternator. Will work with factory power steering, or our part number 420L type II saginaw power steering pump bracket.

Mid Mount
This bracket is designed for the Buick 401/425 C.I.D. motors, and uses the smaller G.M. CS130 alternator with the 2 o'clock position as shown in the Important Info. page of this web site. Three piece steel bracket mounts the alternator using the mounting bolts of the water crossover manifold. Bracket aligns the alternator with the middle grooves of a three groove water pump and crankshaft pulley.
